I have read many books on Internet Marketing and online business. This is one of the few that gives solid examples and helps lay the ground work to get you going.
I believe the bad reviews come from those who expected the book to come to life and do the work for them. If Yanik told you step by step exactly what to do then everyone who read this book would be doing the same thing and no one would make money.
I started using some of the techniques in this book even before I finished it and I am well on my way to making some extra income online.

Ok, so there is SOME good info in this book. But by and large it will not teach you how to set up your busines and/or website. It's more of a brag book. They author inserts many websites, most of which will profit him or his "colleagues" if you purchase from these sites. I thought of the book as more of an infomercial than a how-to while I was reading it. Filled with generalities that will drive you to search for more grass-roots instruction from other sources.

Nice book slick cover short on any meaningful content. Do not buy this book if you are looking for specifics on how to moon light on the internet. The author has lots of links to his account where he attempts to sell you his services or information. Lots of generalities no meat

Very informative. Easy read. Out of the 4 books I purchased in regards to earning extra income online, this was the best.

I have been remotely interested in starting an online marketing business for several years. I am fairly tech savy but not so much about marketing.
Yanik Silver's book really laid it all out in plain-speak. I dove right in and now I'm in the process of putting up my first internet marketing website."Moonlighting on the Internet" gave me the confidence to finally make it happen!
