From the supplier: A pattern of consistent overpayment by buyers and underselling by sellers was revealed after an analysis of about 1,300 hotel transactions was made for the period 1985 to 1992. Comparisons were made between certain types of hotel properties and buyers and sellers. It showed that sale prices are usually affected by combinations of property characteristics and the attributes of buyers and sellers.
