Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Fully revised and updated 2nd edition and the best-selling book about buying property in Florida since it was first published in 1996. Essential reading for anyone planning to buy a home in Florida and the most comprehensive and up-to-date source of information available. Buying a Home in Florida is designed to guide you through the jungle (and swamps) and make buying a home a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Most importantly, it contains vital information to help you avoid disasters that can turn a dream home into a nightmare - and will also save you time, trouble and money!

4 out of 5 stars Warning! Not really for US residents!   February 14, 1999

Good amount of information, and one would think from the title that this is a comprehensive guide to buying a home in Florida. BUT...the book was written for UK buyers, and a lot of the book is taken up with information about obtaining residency and the like. For people inside the US, there are high points worth reading, but mostly not. Probably very useful for Canadians and Europeans.
