5 out of 5 stars All You Need To Know   August 2, 2007

I read this book after working for a Title Insurance company for quite some time, and I must say, it covers everything you need to know! I worked in the accounting department so I was vaguely familiar with the buying process but had a lot of questions when I decided to buy my first home. This book answered every question I had, and some that I hadn't even thought of! I suggest that you read it before even deciding whether or not to buy a home. It takes you step by step through the complex process, from figuring out what you can afford, to loan pre-qualification, to choosing the right loan, to finding the perfect home, closing the sale, and even refinancing! Many a naive home buyer has found themselves in a bad situation - this book is your best defense!
